About Me

My name is Travis.  Photography has been a passion of mine for a long while, and I really never get tired of looking at photographs or ways to improve my style.  Even with a degree, most everything that I currently do I have taught myself.  There is a great wealth of information out there, and I intend to use every bit that I can.  I like to try different tricks and/or styles, so that I can always feel like I am moving forward.  I recently moved to Rogers, AR from Kansas and I'm in great amazement of all the photographic opportunity this state has to offer.  Most of the things I shoot are people, and some of the places that I visit; and I usually try to at some point to share my thoughts and/or experiences.  I am open-minded when it come to constructive criticism, so if anyone would like to offer some tips or suggestions, I'm all ears.  I look for any kind of inspiration that I can in whatever, and whoever I meet.

 

I graduated with a degree in Photo Technology in 2009 from Washburn Technical School (formerly Kaw Area Technical School) in Topeka, KS.  I got the best of both worlds from doing film photography and through the transition into the digital world.  I simply take a great pride in teaching myself more about the digital aspects of photography!  So a great big THANKS to all of the photography bloggers who share their posts, experiences, tips, and overall inspiration.  

 

This is my motto:  Live| Learn| Lead|.  If by chance I have the opportunity to inspire someone else on the path of life, then that is even more rewarding.
