Well, I survived another year of Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kansas. I came to the conclusion that this was the 15th year in row that I have been in attendance, but it never seems to get old.

Just as I have shared before, it is a great time, good music, and lots of rowdyness. You do however need to be responsible. This meaning, that when the temperatures hit over 100 degrees, YOU MUST DRINK WATER! Other than that, it's a great time....So Party on!

Country Stampede 2010
So for about the 13th year in a row I attended the 15th annual Country Stampede in Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan, KS. It was a great time. The performers included Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Gloriana, Luke Bryan, Tracy Lawrence, Darius Rucker, Billy Currington, and many more. It gets a little wild with the campers, the partiers, and the music the rages on well into the wee hours of the morning. People from all different ages, and within about a four-state area come to enjoy music, good food, beer, and the company of family and friends. So I would encourage anyone to at least come out and give it a try, and experience it for yourself. But
PLEASE BE SAFE!
Too many years there is accidents that occur due to carelessness. Each and every day the temperature reaches well over 100 degrees. You must drink WATER!
The combination of alcohol and heat do not mix! Aside form that it is a great experience, and would encourage anyone to participate in the festivities. Brought to you by:
They have a great fireworks show on Saturday night set to music.
Please note that this is not my Blazer.
Even the folks from Nebraska come down.
